My photography style is to capture the candid and intimate moments of your love as organically as possible. I leave room for things to unfold and anticipate important moments you might not see, because I want to tell your story the way it happens, and capture every nuance in between.
My approach toward photography is playful and fun, and I’m easily swept up in genuine emotion and connection, in fact I will probably cry at some point during your wedding. My main focus is on what really matters to you and your partner so you have photographic memories that represent your day and who you are as a couple.

Your comfort and connection is most important to me. My goal is to create a comfortable and easygoing experience with room for you to truly be yourself. When you and your partner feel free to be yourselves I get to photograph you in your element, and that is my favourite way to capture moments.
When photographing portraits I will gently guide you into poses that feel natural. I incorporate lots of movement into my posing so that you never feel stuck or uncomfortable. I want you to feel less focused on where to put your hands and more focused on your love.
When you hire me as your photographer I will be there for you every step of the way, helping you plan, suggesting locations, vendors, and giving you advice for the best photos based on timing and light.

The best decision that we made at our wedding was to book Brontë.
She was so easy to communicate with, she came to our rehearsal and gave amazing advice, and on the day she was efficient so it didn't feel like we spent the whole day taking photos. She was so lovely and all of our guests commented on how much they liked her and felt like she was a part of the wedding. Afterwards, we were floored at how amazing our pictures turned out. Hiring Brontë as my engagement and wedding photographer was such a wonderful experience! I have absolutely LOVED working with Brontë for the last couple of years. Having her be our wedding photographer was such an easy choice. Her work is amazing, and she genuinely really cares about her clients and what they want. Her excitement for our day, and venue, and capturing the look we want was so obvious. Working with Brontë was a dream! This was our third time with her. Once for our friend’s wedding in 2019, another for our engagement photos in Vancouver in 2020, and finally for our own wedding this past August on Vancouver Island.
