Lower Mainland Wedding Venues

A Curated selection for Couples Planning Their Big Day

Whether you’re drawn to lush gardens, heritage buildings, waterfront views, relaxed wineries or rustic barns, this Lower Mainland Wedding Venues guide breaks down some of the most loved venues in the area. Each venue is shared with intention, who it’s best suited for, an idea of the guest capacity, and why it creates such a beautiful backdrop for both your wedding day and your photos.

Planning a wedding in the Lower Mainland is one of the most exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) parts of your whole journey. I’m Brontë Taylor, a Vancouver-area wedding photographer, and I’ve had the privilege of documenting over 100+ love stories across this region from intimate elopements to grand celebrations with hundreds of guests. I know what makes a venue not just beautiful, but functional for your timeline, your photos, and your guest experience.

I’ve photographed weddings at each of these Lower Mainland Wedding venues and know exactly how to make the most of their light and layouts, from the best ceremony light to hidden portrait spots and perfect places to sneak away at sunset. I’d love to share that insight with you and be part of your day. Let’s dive in!
